225 Most Popular Artists in History

I went and visited the Art Renewal Center’s website this morning.  They have a list they’ve released that claims to be the top 225 most popular artists in history based on web searches.  All of the artists are representational.   They also claim it debunks the modernist’s propoganda that modernists lead the popularity contest.

LPH History Fun Gaining Momentum

My local newspaper came across this blog, and they’re doing a write up on the LetsPlayHistory.org/.com project.  As this is a small town newspaper, it may take a week or two for the write up to find inclusion.   The newspaper reporter seemed genuinely enthusiastic, which makes me happy :-).  I think it’s a fun project, too!

I have decided to postpone the art auctions for two weeks, in order to work on two LPH promotional projects.
The first will be a new squidoo lens (page) on how to turn one’s history-based daydreams into real, live events.  It is basically a planning guide for history themed parties or reenactments (for fun or for profit).  It will […]

Announcing Carrie Franzwa’s Signature Trio

Well, I love horses, and it shows in my art.  Quantum Ponies are exceptional in detail, but also offer that artsy feel so many people covet.  I will be doing more horse trios in the future, some in realistic style, and some in other styles and mediums.  But forever, Quantum Ponies will be my signature trio set.
