Civil War reenactor Tom Higgins has generously offered to let us leverage his free reenactor classifieds service while we’re in the startup phase.

ReenactorClassifieds.com is a free service to the living history community specializing in U.S. time periods from Early Colonial to World War II.

Tom is a member and webmaster for the 28th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry (http://www.28thmass.org/ New England-based Civil War reenactment unit portraying the “Faugh a Ballagh” 4th regiment of the Irish Brigade).  Thank you, Tom!

One FUN suggestion for using LPH classifieds:

Say you’re sleuthing your own history mystery, but you need information from a special library located on the other side of the US.  Post what you’re after in the LPH forum (coming soon), and then place a link to that post in a classified ad to LPH members who live in the city where the library is located.  You may find a club member who is more than willing to do a bit of volunteer research for you!
